Hello! My name is Tim, I work for Los Angeles County, am the college director for my church, and I study philosophy.
I don’t believe Church is merely a building you go to on Sundays; it’s who you are. As Paul says, “whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Thus, I view Christianity holistically and seek to understand and do everything from a Christian perspective. Whether I’m doing accountant related work for my job, or teaching a Bible study at church, my goal is to understand and do it all from a Christian perspective. Christ is not just Lord over my life on Sundays, but always.
So whether you’re a janitor or a CEO, a preacher or a McDonald’s “cook,” a psychologist or a business major, I hope I can challenge you to live your lives “as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God.”
All this being said, you won’t simply find an assortment of verses and devotions on my blog. You won’t find that my blog has a specific aim, subject, target audience, or focus. I like to talk about everything life has for us.
